ABOUT ME

I’m Vanessa, an artist weaving worlds of fashion, sound, and story. Growing up near Montreal, nature shaped my imagination and still guides my work. My practice is rooted in slow fashion, where forgotten fabrics and materials are transformed—sewn, soldered, and stitched—into unique, wearable art. Inspired by the mysterious and the uncanny, I create pieces that carry both memory and magic, making sustainability feel like second nature.

Alongside my handmade work, I gather and reimagine vintage finds, curating them into new narratives. I also make music under the name VANFAVE and co-own Founders of Filth, an independent label I run with my partner. Whether through textiles, textures, or sounds, everything I create belongs to the same dreamspace—an invitation to step into another world.
